A pair of gold-plated hoop earrings inspired by the twisted torcs found at Blair Drummond, Scotland.
These gold-plated brass earrings are based on the famous torcs discovered in 2009 by metal detectorists near Blair Drummond in Sterling, Scotland. The Iron Age originals would have been made at some point between 300 and 100 BC, and were made in the style of ‘ribbon torcs’. The Blair Drummond Hoard is considered one of Scotland’s most significant discoveries, and the originals are now housed in the National Museum of Scotland.
A stylish gift inspired by Iron Age design.
